The current focus of my practice is on individuals of all ages, with challenges coping with or adjusting to life, and who feel different, awkward, or lost. I’m interested in highly sensitive people, sensory sensitive individuals, and people struggling to “fit in”. My approach is practical and educational, rooted in developmental/attachment theory and positive psychology. I help clients build what I call a “Therapeutic Life” that supports their unique needs, and develop adaptive strategies, so that they can heal and thrive. My background and early career focus is in early-childhood and elementary education, and I worked as a teacher for many years. I also have extensive background with people with developmental disabilities and special needs.
