Therapist Overview

With a strong knowledge in couples and families, I have had great success in working with marital issues, divorce recovery (how to manage co-parenting and life after divorce) mental health disorders and challenges, issues with sexuality, self-harm, trauma recovery, and mood disorders both individually and within the family system. My systems approach and integration of Christian principles, if desired, have helped thousands to lead stronger healthier, more productive lives. I hold degrees in Childhood Education, Psychology, and Marriage and Family Therapy. I worked for LDS Family Services from 2004-2011, then entered private practice in 2011. I’ve also worked as a Child & Family Therapist/Assessment Specialist, serving individuals, couples and families and completing Substance Abuse/Mental Health Evaluations. I have been identified as an expert witness in court, testifying on child custody issues and the health of the child. I present regularly at conferences upon invitation.
