Therapist Overview
I offer a warm, engaged, relational approach and am here to support you in understanding and processing what you are going through. If you are struggling to find peace in your day to day life, if you are in pain, feel like something is wrong with you, I can work with you to tend to the places that need your attention and help you care for the soul. I work with depth psychology, psychodynamics, mindfulness and somatics (focus on the body’s experience.) I draw on modern research in the areas of trauma, attachment, the brain and the body to ground my practice. I specialize in the area of grief, and the important places of growth and love that loss brings us. I also work with trauma, depression, perinatal loss, and relationship issues. I draw on ancient human practices of grieving and healing to guide my practice. I welcome LGBTQ+ clients and work continually to be an anti-racist therapist. Life can be painful and hard to understand. I am here to listen, to help give you a sense of grounding and help you build a sense of safety and belonging in the world. One step at a time, we can carefully look at what you are working with and navigate the path together. Ofrezco terapia en español para personas con algo de inglés.
