Therapist Overview

My goal is to help you increase connection with others and develop the type of life you would like to have. I have helped women and men work through the impact of trauma, address the effects of gender and/or sexual orientation oppression and discrimination, decrease symptoms of depression and anxiety, and improve the quality of their relationships. I have over twenty-five years of experience in the mental health field and have been licensed as a clinical psychologist since 2004. I strive to provide a safe and comfortable space for you to address the challenges you face in your life. A focus of my work is recovery from trauma. One approach does not work for everyone, so I tend to utilize aspects of different therapeutic approaches to fit best your needs. I have been trained in various evidence-based treatments, including EMDR, Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). The decision to meet with a therapist can be difficult. I think of therapy as working like a team
