Therapist Overview
Life is full of changes, and sometimes these changes evoke challenges. Maybe you are experiencing relationship problems, or you’re in a stressful season; feeling isolated or overwhelmed. You might be interested in personal growth and development. These are just a few of the reasons that people seek counseling. Since you are looking for services that will fit your need, I will love to introduce myself: I am a licensed professional, with nearly 15 years experience. I am skilled working with concerns such as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship concerns, domestic violence, parenting, trauma, anger, and personal growth. My approach to therapy is empathic and supportive. I encourage clients to express their needs, desires, and to share what they hope to get out of therapy. I am supportive of all people, and honor diversity. I utilize CBT techniques to challenge and change negative thinking patterns, Narrative Therapy, EMDR and other practices. I also offer services remotely. You don’t have to live with more fear than hope. I encourage you to use your heart, soul and mind to be calm, centered, and balanced. Carl Bard once said, “though no one can go back and make a brand-new start, anyone can start today and make a brand-new ending”. I want to support you during your life transition, self-growth and renewed healing.
