In my years of therapy, I have learned that the fundamental problem for most people is that they don’t know how beautiful they are as people. Perhaps it is life events, the way one grew up, or the things that one has done to themselves or others that hides the potential we all possess. I tend to treat conditions that I’ve either struggled with myself or have helped loved ones to get through, increasing the likelihood that I will have some personal insight into what you’re dealing with. I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space, believing that everyone needs to be accepted for who they are. I focus on providing online therapy so that I might be able to serve people in rural areas and those who are not able to leave their homes easily. Therapy with me tends to be behavioral based, I want to help you figure out why you do what you do and to make the changes you desire. I generally adopt an active, problem solving approach to therapy. I am fortunate to have a small caseload of people allowing me to not be stressed or overworked and which enables me to have more energy and clarity to support you. I have a particular affinity for treating people with issues of depression, alcohol abuse, anxiety, grief, spiritual struggles, chronic health conditions and the elderly.
