Therapist Overview

I offer a mindfulness-based approach to therapy that focuses on mind, body, spirit and emotional awareness. I am warm, conversational and interested in your unique life experience. I help you explore the impact your past history has on your current relationships and every day life. I am passionate about working with complex intimate, dating and family relationships. I help you identify where you end and others begin. I will help you strategize around challenging relationships, creating boundaries and stronger communication. I am trained in CBT, DBT and ACT. I come from a social justice, anti-oppression framework and work with all gender identities, sexual orientations, romantic relationships and family configurations. I have extensive experience helping the LGBTQI2 community with coming out, exploring sexuality, non-monogamy and family dynamics. I will help you find insight and awareness about who you are, so you can build resiliency, clarity, and balance in your life. I support your own intuition and ability to heal from within. My purpose in session is to hear you, help you problem solve, and hold space for both your pain and your joy, while supporting you on the path toward recovery.
