I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist with a graduate degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration. I have a community health background, experience working in the juvenile justice system and with diverse populations. I specialize in common disorders such as bipolar, major depression, anxiety and PTSD. I believe that every person and family is unique; I will treat you as such. Whether you need general support with everyday life stressors or help getting out of troublesome patterns; with the proper tools and support we can address whatever is getting in the way of your overall happiness. I utilize interventions that have been researched and proven to be effective such as cognitive behavioral therapy, EMDR and mindfulness techniques. Collaboratively, we will develop a treatment plan that fits your needs. Most importantly you will be provided a warm, judgment free environment where you will feel safe and valued.
