My approach is client centered with a focus on client goals and finding solutions for distress. Reaching out for help can be difficult, but I look forward to working with a variety of clients . My background includes over 20 years as a paramedic, and I can empathize and assist clients who have worked under stressful conditions. I have worked with children, adults and elderly clients. I focus on building a relationship with each and every client. I use Brief Solution Focused Therapy among a variety of other modalities to assist clients with depression, anxiety, feelings of grief and loss, and relationship distress. I have worked with elderly clients with a focus on end of life and isolation/loss. My unique background gives me a perspective on compounded stress and PTSD among first responders.
