Therapist Overview
Perhaps you or your child are unhappy, anxious, angry, or grieving. Maybe your life has been upended by COVID19, or you are recovering from trauma, coping with divorce, struggling in relationships, adjusting to a bipolar diagnosis, seeking personal growth, or discovering your identity. To begin psychotherapy is to explore the complexity of who and how you are—the sum total of your life experiences, temperament, culture, relationships, and more. Through exploration into both formative experiences and present-day struggles and strengths, we will come to understand and address what is interfering with you having the life you desire. I work with adults, couples, children, and their families for a wide range of concerns. My practice is rooted in relational, psychodynamic principles, is deeply empathic, and is tailored to meet your or your child’s unique needs. Areas of specialty include bipolar disorder, creativity (artists, writers, musicians), and play therapy with children ages 3-11. We will work collaboratively, mobilizing your internal resources to facilitate insight, healing, and growth. Session frequency and fee depend on your needs and goals, and will be decided upon together. For safety reasons, I am now seeing patients via privacy-protected video or phone only. I would be happy to consult with you regarding our working together!
