Therapist Overview

Are you struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, or relationship problems? I know its not easy taking the first steps toward beginning counseling. My goal is for you to find a safe place to connect and be heard in a warm, supportive environment. God can use the counseling relationship to help you find relief, hope, and restoration. I have worked with people who are struggling with substance abuse, women’s issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, boundary issues and co-dependency, grief and loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personal growth, life transitions and goals, and spiritual problems. I like to incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice because CBT is a well-researched therapy approach that has proven its effectiveness. CBT provides practical ways of overcoming destructive thinking and behaviors that can keep us feeling stuck. CBT helps people become unstuck!
