Entering into a counseling relationship is at once multiple things: awkward, exciting, scary and vulnerable. I work in this field to be able to engage with people who are hurting and sometimes don’t know which is the best way forward. I strive to create a safe place where your journey is honored and your authentic self is given permission to show up. Engaging in counseling is like your own personal laboratory, where you get to explore, test and challenge your own life before taking those lessons into the world to make real change. I have over 7 years of experience working with individuals, adolescents, couples and families. I relish the tension of staying present and in the moment while also helping take steps to see life from a wider perspective, and finding real and concrete ways to make positive changes in your life.
