My goal is to provide you with a safe and non-judgmental space, guiding you in discovering the very strengths that you already possess. Life presents challenges and you may be dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship problems, school academic/behavior struggles, parenting issues, or are simply going through life adjustment difficulties. I believe that counseling is an integrative system, combining a variety of approaches tailored to each individualās unique circumstances. I emphasize a supportive environment for you to develop your own goals and explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My belief is that effective counseling lies in the relationship between client and counselor. As a former school teacher I especially enjoy working with children, pre-teens, adolescents/teens, and young adults utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches. Therapy is a journey and I believe in creating an environment where people can explore their experiences and tell their story in their own time.
