Therapist Overview

Toxic stress will can make us emotionally and physically ill. Together we can learn the healthful characteristics of Stress-Resilient People. We will all experience loss, grief, and self-doubt, however with the help of a professional therapist we can develop positive mind states that will inoculate our mind and body from the suffering that is depression and anxiety. I have worked with individuals, couples and families for more than 25 years. First as a Special Education teacher, then as a school counselor and psychotherapist. Unconditional positive regard is the premise of my practice, listening and understanding without judgment allows individuals to heal their deepest wounds and create a life worth living. I have witnessed tremendous change and growth in the lives of my clients. It has been over time that I have witnessed the positive effects of talk therapy! It is not only the individual in therapy that improves their emotional health and resiliency, they can be the catalyst for the improved functioning of the entire family.
