Therapist Overview
Please email or call for free consultation so I can get a better understanding of what you are wanting and your goals for counseling. I am a proud Army Veteran working in the field of counseling since 2015. Prior to becoming a therapist, I earned my undergraduate degree in Special Education. I have experience working with combat veterans, CPS, couples, children, families, LGBTQ community, supervised new therapists, and a prior director of a psychiatric hospital. Appointments are available during the day and evenings which works out great for families who work or go to school. Sessions are offered by Zoom or in person. I use the Gottman approach for couples. This approach has over 20 plus years of founded research behind it. I enjoy play therapy, art and music therapy, CBT and DBT for pre teens, teens, and adults. Every client is different and unique. I use a wide range of modalities to fit the needs of those I serve. My approach is nonjudgmental, caring, and compassionate therapy. No one gets to define who you are unless you let them. I look forward to working alongside of you in the journey of healing, hope, and recovery.
