I operate from the framework that no human being need to navigate the difficulties of life alone. Life can often times bring us unexpected results. Strong emotions associated with anxiety, depression and fear can cause us to turn toward certain behaviors and situations to help us cope. When these behaviors and situations become unsafe or unsuitable for what we want in life, it can sometimes become difficult to find our way on our own. I offer an environment that is safe, compassionate and collaborative. My approach allows us to work together to promote your individual strengths that aid in the healing of emotional scars. At the core of my work with folks is a collaborative and person centered approach. I utilize a diverse range of techniques that allows me to find the approach that fits most effectively for each and every client that I meet. My goal is for a person’s individuality and life experiences to be honored as we work together toward the common goal of healing. Additionally, I have professional experiences that include working with folks who struggle with Substance Use Disorder, eating disorders and disordered eating, working with LGBTQI+ folks, and working with children and adolescents to help navigate and create a safe and collaborative environment for change.
