In providing therapy to clients who have experienced significant trauma for over a decade, I have found that each client presents in a different stage of processing their trauma. By offering therapy that addresses the core issues of trauma and its effects, I can help the client go “underneath” their experiences and then move through them, offering the client an ability to integrate the broken pieces into their lives to become whole. I have a Masters level degree in both mental health counseling and expressive therapies, and am fully trained to offer the client a variety of modalities that may best suit their needs. Many of the issues facing families today affect both the child’s emotional health and physical safety, therefore safety planning is imperative to therapy. Coping with mental health issues is a difficult challenge in today’s world, but it is one that is of the utmost importance in building a future filled with love and hope for our children.
