Therapist Overview
Our innate human desire and need for love and connection is undeniable. In my work with families, individuals and partners, I encourage my clients to uncover and share feelings that often lie underneath dysfunctional patterns and interactions. This systemic perspective also values reflection on the impact from our families of origin. I also aim to nurture a strong sense of identity and self worth, believing this is imperative in finding balance in our unpredictable, confusing world. Grief, anxiety, trauma, and depression are a few of many maladaptive responses to life stresses I have worked with. I can help you process origins, teach coping skills and offer new lenses from which to view your experience. I largely draw from Attachment, Experiential, EFT and Narrative theories. I appreciate the beauty in our diverse world. Compassion, acceptance and openness to varied experiences are essential values in the safe space I continually seek to provide. I am a collaborative partner, drawing from your strengths to promote change. Call for a complimentary consultation to see if we are a good fit.
