My ideal client requires clinical support to overcome behavioral difficulties stemming from their mental health needs. Clients are given support to improve their understanding of the relationship between these behaviors and their mental wellness in addition to specific skills to improve this wellness. My style strongly supports an understanding of self through small steps taken toward their goals on a daily basis. Together, we will work to both gain a deeper understanding of your ongoing needs and how you can utilize your personal strengths to overcome these with positivity on a long-term basis. I help with effective and creative usage of Dialectical Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral, Attachment-Focused, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapeutic skill applications. I specialize in applying these to support kids, teens, and young adults using a whole-person approach (understanding the individual within their life context).
