Therapist Overview
I graduated from Naropa University in May 2015 with my Master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology and Art Therapy. I work with children, teens, and adults in the areas of depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, grief, and self-esteem. I feel that the therapeutic relationship is a partnership, where together we will decide the pace, structure, and forms of expression that best suit the client’s needs. Art making, in a therapeutic session, can look many different ways. Painting, drawing, clay, sculpture, photography, sewing, to name a few, are offered as modes of artistic communication for clients. Along with Art Therapy other modalities that I use in sessions include mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and the humanistic approach.
