I look at counseling as a process where the individual can express their vulnerabilities and emotions without feeling judged. When you walk into my office, I want you to be able to express any emotion that you may be feeling at the time. I approach counseling from a cognitive-behavioral or person-centered approach in which you and I will identify any behavioral patterns that may lead to those negative, unwanted thoughts and difficult decisions. You and I will work together to identify a plan that suits your needs and allows you to have full control over your thoughts and behaviors. Empowering and uplifting others have always been something I feel very passionate and confident about. I enjoy helping individuals, couples, and children work through various hardships while empowering them through the process.
