All humans have inherent worth, yet a lack of self-worth is at the core of all emotional pain. I use a narrative approach to allow clients to share their story as they see it, and then help them change their story to better meet life goals. Self-defeating behaviors created throughout one’s life to cope with difficult situations, such as trauma, gender identity and a lack of validation, can be changed when identified and understood. I join my client on their journey to become the person they desire. I have received training specific to the Foundations of Transgender Health to help my practice of affirming gender equality. I work with teenagers and adults who struggle to live their desired life. I’m passionate about the impact of addiction, trauma and gender identity.
