Carolyn De Leon

Carolyn’s approach to therapy is holistic, integrating mind, body and spirit to achieve health and wellness. She utilizes the expressive arts in various modalities to enhance the therapeutic process. She enjoys counseling with both children and adults. Carolyn’s sees a variety of clients, though focuses more on Christian Counseling for church leaders, grief and Loss, depression, anxiety, and traumatic experiences, career counseling, workplace counseling for those experiencing challenges in their place of employment, executive and professional counseling and coaching. Carolyn obtained a Master’s degree in 2015 in counseling psychology from Sofia University in Palo Alto, CA. Within her graduate program, she studied expressive arts therapy as an augmentative approach to counseling. Carolyn worked for almost 20 years as an executive leader in both HR and operations both in the corporate and non-profit arenas. For fun and self-care she enjoys the outdoors, gardening, fishing, road bike riding, walking her dogs Abby and Marcus, playing co-ed softball and attending sporting events. She is an avid reader and enjoys arts and crafts. On her bucket list is to learn cross country skiing and kayaking.
