A deeply distressing and disturbing experience in your life can have many negative effects such as feeling numb or like you’re just “going through the motions,” deep depression and sadness, or feeling “broken.” But you are not alone in feeling this way. I understand the power of trauma and how it can destroy you, overtaking your mind and your body. It’s a wound that changes a person. Especially if you don’t let it out. It finds unhealthy ways. The trauma can overpower you and take control. But you can become “unbroken.” I practice Basic EMDR, SOMATIC therapy, animal therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and a person-centered approach. You will be provided with significant tools and exercises and education in PTSD, trauma and how it affects the brain and body, anxiety and depression. You can grow and be transformed.
