How else was I going to fix my life after my parents damaged me :-) After growing up in foster care, abused & abandoned, I spent decades feeling lost & helpless. At 37, I finally learned how to heal myself. I went on to get my PhD in Mental Health Counseling, a Hypnotherapy degree, & became an author of self-improvement books. I went on to work in women’s in-patient & co-ed out-patient substance abuse facilities, a psychiatric hospital, private practice, the military, low income families, and wrap around services for foster children.
