Sometimes we get stuck; stuck in certain behaviors, beliefs about ourselves and the world, in our personal relationships, and/or substances. That’s where I come in. As a psychotherapist, I offer guidance and reflection for alleviating symptoms of past experiences affecting your life and relationships today, as well as providing movement for change and implementing new, more rewarding behavior and positive movement in your life through individual counseling and in your relationship with a Psychobiological Approach to Couples Therapy (PACT). I use a mindfulness-based and client-centered approach, with a variety of Evidenced-Based Practices including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Dialectical and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (DBT and CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
