Hello and welcome! Finding a therapist that you connect with can be a daunting task, so let me tell you a little about myself. I received my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from the University of Kansas and my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Olaf College. I completed two internships: one at Baker University where I counseled college students on a variety of issues; and the other at the University of Kansas’s Counseling Laboratory for the Exploration of Optimal States where I researched and counseled highly creative and gifted high school students. I approach therapy through a person-centered lens, informed by Humanistic and Psychodynamic theories and utilizing techniques from an eclectic mix of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.
