Therapist Overview
If you are LGBTQ+, you may be feeling lost and struggling to find someone who “gets” you. As a queer transgender man, I have a unique perspective into the challenges of navigating our world, and I feel empowered to support folks who are exploring what it means to live as their authentic selves. I’m invested in supporting folks at any age who are like us. I encourage you to bring anything into our sessions so we can process things together. All vibes are welcome with me: if you’re having a particularly difficult day, if you’re nervous about starting therapy, if you feel like you should be able to handle this on you own. I use an eclectic and strengths-based approach to mental health; I often include DBT and CBT components in my work, but my priority is finding methods that work best for you, and to walk alongside you as you work towards your goals. Healing and recovery are not one-size-fits-all, so I want to make sure our work together is centered around your priorities. At the end of the day, I want to meet you wherever you are in your journey, and provide you an affirming space where you can feel both safe and courageous to be yourself and improve your mental health. No matter where your sexuality or gender identity falls, I look forward to partnering with you on your adventure towards a more positive mental health.
