Therapist Overview
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, experienced in working with children, adolescents and families. Choosing to begin therapy can feel overwhelming, so my approach includes providing a safe, comfortable, nonjudgmental place where we can work together to address your goals. I’m well suited to working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral difficulties, as well as those experiencing stressors related to family/peer relationships or academic demands. Many social, academic and relational demands can be stressful; it can be helpful to provide kids and teens with additional support. You can expect my style to be warm, relational and when appropriate, to provide feedback or challenge ways of thinking or patterns of behavior. I typically draw from modalities including CBT, as well as strength-based and attachment-based frameworks such as ARC, as well as play therapy, though will individualize sessions to meet your needs. Please feel free to reach out to see if this feels like a good match for your child or family. I look forward to speaking with you!
