Therapist Overview
I provide depth-oriented psychotherapy for people from all walks of life who are struggling with a loss of meaning, confusion about one’s place in the world and spiritual stagnation. This could manifest in hopelessness about one’s career, a mid/quarter life crisis, or feeling stuck in a relationship, too frozen to make a change. My approach is warm, collaborative and compassionate. I also treat families and children with behavioral issues. I have been trained and mentored in the traditions of Depth Psychology, primarily of Carl Jung and Heinz Kohut, and incorporate existential and phenomenological perspectives, as well as clinical applications of neuroscience. I have also studied Eastern psychology and Buddhism for the past 15 years, and incorporate this into my work. A fundamental goal of psychotherapy is to exist in ways we deeply long to but feel frustrated or confused that we are not able to achieve. I am here to attend to what is calling you towards change.
