Therapist Overview

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families on a wide array of issues, including trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, oppositional behavior, relational issues, academic problems, spirituality, sexual addiction, sexual identity, grief and loss. I tend to practice from a relational perspective, believing that true healing comes from genuine relationship and accountability with one another. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents who have difficulty relating to their families/peers and are typically viewed as the outcasts or troublemakers. I also lead male sex addiction groups and intensives. I approach therapy through a holistic, person-centered, and relational framework, striving to connect with each of my clients in a genuine way in order to create a safe space for everyone who enters my office. With trust as the foundation, I utilize Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, interpersonal therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness skills. It is my goal to allow you to feel heard and cared for as we collaboratively strive for a hopeful future. Although I identify as a Christian, I invite and welcome people from all backgrounds and world views into my office.
