I believe relationship, security, and sexuality are essential to life. We all need to feel connected to others, to feel safe and secure in our relationships, and to feel confident and comfortable in our sexuality and sexual relationships. Often, this need includes working on our relationship with ourself as well as others. We live in a highly erotophobic society, and often times messages around our body and sex have been rooted in shame. The impact of that shame impacts our own relationship to our body, our relationships to others, and our overall wellbeing. I use an approach to therapy that is based on Emotion Focussed Therapy with an emphasis on attachment. As a Certified Integrated Intimacy Professional practicing sex therapy, I have a wholistic view on intimacy and sex and believe in collaborating with each client to find a path to healing.
