Life has challenges. If you allow me to, I will be there to walk with you through your challenges. There will be times when the challenges seem greater than the gain. That’s when I will encourage you to address your challenges with acknowledgement, patience, tolerance, and acceptance which, if you’re willing, you will find a lesson about yourself within. I used a person centered approach with focus on self and insight within self. My main goal within the therapeutic setting is to increase self-awareness, self-efficacy, self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth. The interventions that I utilize are primarily from dialectical behavioral therapy, with some interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy. My belief is to meet you where you’re at within the counseling process and if you are not ready, which is also okay, we will explore and discuss other options.
