Therapist Overview
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor licensed by the State of Missouri. I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage/Family Therapy from Stephens College in 2010. I have worked in this field over the last seven years directly with two separate agencies offering individual therapy as well as completing assessments in order to assist families with receiving mental health treatment. I have completed additional training in Trauma Therapy-including both Trauma Focused-CBT and EMDR. I am in the process of completing my consultation hours to become a fully trained EMDR provider. I have also received training in grief/cancer centered support therapy as well as Play Therapy/Sand Play. I have experience working with children and adults with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. I am most proud of the work that I have done with helping my community get access to mental health treatment. At this time, I offer counseling for all ages through my private practice.
