Anna Kirkley, LPC, Co-Owner of Empower Therapeutic Services

I am one of two therapists practicing at Empower Therapeutic Services in Columbia, MO. I serve adults and adolescents ages 15 and up. I especially enjoy working with women to help them find their voice, be seen and heard in the world and set boundaries with those around them.
What many people view as diagnoses, I view as symptoms of an out of balance life. I treat depression, anxiety, substance abuse and many other symptoms by looking for what isn’t serving the client in their life and helping the client find the way out of that pattern, environment, or belief system.
I am open minded, empathic, and affirming. My clients tell me they feel seen and heard when working with me. I will always treat you like you are the expert on your life (because you are!) and the goals we set will be yours.
