I believe the way to success in therapy is to find a therapist that is a good fit for your needs. Therapy is a relationship. One that works best when open, honest, and collaborative. I am invested in the client as an individual but also as a part of a greater system. I work from a systemic lens and believe deeply that our interactions and habits are greatly influenced by those around us and our previous experiences. My work with clients is done with the consideration of one’s identity, family history culture, and the world around us. My style is direct yet gentle and I speak from an honest heart. I pull from various models but most often utilize Narrative Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness based techniques. Through a combination of these modalities, I work to help clients re-write unhealthy narratives and adjust patterns or ways of thinking that reinforce these inaccurate self-views.
