Therapist Overview
Road blocks can sometimes be a normal part of life allowing us to learn and grow; however, sometimes these road blocks can become so overwhelming and powerful we are left feeling hopeless. It is a primary goal of mine to help individuals and/or families reclaim their lives by restoring their sense of hope through counseling. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in both individual and family therapy. I received specialized training through the Center for Adoption Support and Education in adoption competency. I also work with children/adolescents who struggle with ADHD, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, social skills, sexually reactive behavior, self-harm, and aggressive/disruptive behavior. I strongly believe all people have a unique set of strengths that can assist in the healing process. I also recognize the role of trauma in emotional wellbeing and strive to provide evidence-based and trauma-informed care.
