I am certified in EMDR therapy and have completed Level III of Gottman Method couple’s therapy. My passion is to assist people uncover their core selves and purpose while maintaining acceptance, intimacy, and connection in relationships. I think the relationship between client and therapist is the primary foundation for growth. I provide an environment and warmth and acceptance while clients explore and uncover core values that have been supplanted by cultural and family expectations. I believe that humor can often be as healing as a good cry. I utilize an integrative approach of cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, family systems, and trauma-focused techniques. I am certified in several evidence based practices in addition to EMDR. I do not accept insurance at this time, but scale is offered.
