I view therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are encouraged to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviors in a supportive, nonjudgmental, and compassionate setting. Our work together is to help you understand yourself in relation to the world around you and to your life experiences. I have a strong belief in the mind/body connection and incorporate mindfulness into my practice. Research shows that empowering clients with stress management techniques and a regular mindfulness practice helps decrease levels of stress and anxiety and improves quality of life.
