Many children and families have been through very difficult circumstances, including trauma. We often do not have a choice about the circumstances we face, but we can heal from these experiences and even turn them into opportunities for growth. I have been a licensed counselor in the state of IL for 10 years. I have experience working with children and families who have been impacted by trauma and other difficult life circumstances. I have also had the opportunity to help parents develop their parenting skills in order to meet their child’s specific needs.
