Welcome! Are you nervous to get a call from your child’s school, knowing they aren’t calling with good news? Do you miss being able to communicate with your teenager without fighting? Are you a young adult struggling with the difficult task of gaining independence? I work with a wide range of issues that affect children, teens, and young adults, including ADHD, learning disabilities, behavior problems, trauma and abuse, anxiety, depression, high-functioning autism, and family issues. I work with children as young as age four. I emphasize skill-building and self-confidence as essential components of change and growth. I use cognitive-behavioral, play therapy, and positive psychology techniques to create a unique plan for each client. Past treatment settings include a therapeutic preschool, residential treatment centers, outpatient therapy clinics, and special education school.
