Therapist Overview
I see ages 7 and up. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, but I also have a regular caseload of children, middle-aged adults, and seniors. I specialize in treating anxiety/depression, personality disorders, trauma-related disorders, and disorders related to psychosis. My style is warm and empathetic, with a sense of humor. I tend to treat from CBT and DBT modalities, but I am comfortable with ACT and interpersonal/psychodynamic treatment modalities. Finding a good fit in therapy is very important. I make an effort to tailor my style and treatment to the specific needs of each individual client. For appointments/information about my availability, please contact Luke Hughes, the intake coordinator at Perkins Counseling and Psychological Services at 919-263-9592, or email [email protected]. This is the best way to get in contact with me/set up an appointment with me if you are interested in determining if we are a fit.
