Therapist Overview
My practice focuses on three main areas. 1. Anxiety and Depression 2. Thearpy/Coaching for individuals looking to improve their well being through a healthier relationship with food. 3. Divorce coaching/counseling. My clinical training took place within a Humanistic/Existential framework. I believe it’s vital to see clients as whole people, not just the sum of their parts. I approach my work with clients as short term and solution focused. I employ evidence based practices such as Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am a member of both the Collaborative Practice Institute of Michigan (CPIM) and the International Association of Collaborative Professionals (IACP). I have worked with individuals at all stages of divorce. If you are struggling with the stress and anxiety of a divorce I’m here to help. I can act as a divorce coach within a collaborative divorce, or I can serve as a therapist and help you deal with the emotional challenges involved.
