Therapist Overview
*Video sessions only for the foreseeable future!* Are you experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, or grief? Sometimes life happens and we feel stuck. Unmanageable thoughts or feelings might take over and what used to feel okay begins to feel out of control. When everyday life seems like too much, if you feel overwhelmed, alone or isolated in your thoughts, seeking counseling is a courageous and kind step towards groundedness, relief, and ultimately healing. In counseling it is my hope that together we will foster an environment that feels safe and nonjudgemental. I believe that you are an expert on your own life; this means that as we get to know each other I will spend a lot of time following your lead. We will work collaboratively in a way that makes sense for the concerns that you wish to address. We will work together to both relieve symptoms and seek understanding, while focusing on developing a deep sense of compassion for yourself.
