As a seasoned licensed clinician, my passion for this field allows me to focus on each of my client’s specific needs. In the complex world we are living, sometimes we experience stressful and sometimes debilitating emotional, mental and/or behavioral challenges. Therefore, in addition to various conventional modalities I utilize a strengths base approach that can help empower and assist in seeking solutions to promote overall increased insight/cognitive functioning and self-regulation. I work extensively providing individual and family psychotherapy with youth, families at risk who may be experiencing PTSD related symptoms resulting from domestic violence/abuse, interpersonal relationship issues, sexual abuse, decreased self-esteem, neglect, attachment and transition issues, school avoidance associated with social anxiety, bullying, and other self-harming behaviors.
