Therapist Overview
I provide psychotherapy for adults with a specialty in women’s mental health. I have trained in a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT, MI, GPM, and psychodynamic psychotherapy in various settings, including outpatient, partial, and inpatient. I pride myself on using humor and empathy to help clients push through their struggles. I encourage clients to explore their goals for seeking change and support them in finding the motivation, insight and skills to cope. I earned my Master of Social Work from Simmons College, and completed a two-year residency in the Brigham and Women’s Hospital system. I have worked at McLean Hospital, BWH Fish Center for Women’s Health, and consult for the complex diagnostic clinic at Brigham and Women’s Hospital where I also serve as adjunct faculty. I am happy to discuss whether we would be a good fit, and firmly believe a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to establishing successful treatment.
