My career as a marriage and family therapist has been dedicated to work with families; namely couples and children. A systemic lens of the world takes into account absolutely everything. I see you as more than just a person, you are part of a larger fabric; the family you were born into and as well as the one you make as an adult. This can include, but is not limited to, partnerships and marriage, friendships, work and career, cultural identity, personal traditions and individual hobbies. Trained as a marriage and family therapist my pre-licensure experience occurred in a community mental health setting where I worked with children at risk of out of home placement and their families. This role allowed me to hone my focus on couples and family work.
