Therapist Overview
I am an experienced therapist who is passionate about my work with individuals, couples and families – helping them navigate the many challenges of modern life. I see myself on a journey with my clients as they work on and gain a better understanding of self, and develop the skills of acceptance, mindfulness, growth and change on their path to well being. I work with depression, anxiety, grief, loss, stress, family, couples’ issues and life issues, including work and friendships. I see my office as a warm safe space where tears and laughter exist side by side as we learn and grow together. In couples therapy I focus on communication, empathetic understanding, ways to deepen understanding of self and others, and helping couples distinguish between you, me and us. “If I am not for myself, who will be for me? If I am only for myself, what am I? If not now, when?” – Ancient wisdom that has been my guiding principle, which I bring to my clients.
