As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I’ve treated individuals who struggle with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, thought disorders, personality disorders, and/or co-occurring substance abuse issues. I also work with individuals who simply need a little help dealing with the stress of daily life — especially college students and young adults struggling with transitions in their lives. We all feel overwhelmed at times! My goal is to provide support, offer a different perspective, and arm you with the tools to manage life’s challenges more effectively. I also have a special interest in helping members of step-families navigate the unique challenges of blended life: role confusion, defensiveness, conflict with the former spouse, increased financial strain, loyalty conflicts, visitation schedules, guilt, and/or feeling like an outsider in your own family — just to name a few! I can help you better understand these challenges, improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and “blend”
