Therapist Overview

All families deserve support and guidance amidst the challenges of parenting, the transitions in life, and the struggles in school. My counseling practice is twofold in providing individual therapy to children and adolescents as well as parenting support. Caregivers are offered the opportunity to pause, reflect, and problem solve with an experienced therapist. I seek to create an authentic relationship with children and teens through play and talk therapy where their true selves can blossom and emotional intelligence thrive. My style is gentle, calm, relational, and practical. I am informed by mindfulness practices and utilize this wisdom in teaching self-regulation skills and self-compassion to youth. In addition to being a therapist I am an adjunct professor in the Master of Social Work program at PSU. I welcome all nontraditional families and alternative caregiving situations with respect for the diversity of parenting experiences. It is my goal to make quality therapy available to
